In today’s technological era, market and organizational needs have changed drastically and dramatically.  With intense competition in both education and other sectors has created complexities, which has leads to necessitate for a perfect train employee to match the organizational needs. There is also a huge gap between the skills and competencies among technical students, which has expected by various organizations. Various researcher has concluded only 15% to 25 % of engineers are employable (Belagodu Venkatesh, (2013). students pass out from institute are not able to fulfil the job demands of the companies. Generic skills which are expected by companies from technical and management students are not matching. Role of training and development for placements of students are less emphasized, because of which students are not able to satisfy the industrial need. Students are only prepared from academic point of view. This current situation created need to study training and development activities for placements of institutes. With proper education, students are only increasing their intelligence and knowledge of particular subject but there is also need to improve their employability skills which leads to grab good placements.  Wisdom  work for bridging  the skill gaps  and work with institutions and corporates.
